Strange bug

On Friday, one user reported that “when the pidgin main menu hidden not working hotkeys (ctrl + q to exit, in particular).” I tried to solve this problem at home, but… found that everything works just fine, ie fault is not apparent! However, coming to work today with sadness discovered that, yes, on the work computer is malfunctioning.

Release will not be until I decide this problem 🙁

I think the problem lies in the GTK, because hotkeys fall off if main menu widget is hidden, although they belong gtkblist->window, but not gtkblist->ift. At home computer may be version GTK, different from the version installed at work.

Do not have time

The whole day spent trying to understand why still not working correctly localization plugin when building it from source. Here’s the plugin Guifications – works, but I have – no 🙁 All, as there did not work. Files put in the same folder, but then sees his Guification, and my plug their own – no 🙁

Maybe tomorrow – new version

I have just adopted a decision to quit wasting time trying to avoid the message:
GLib-GObject: g_object_unref: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
under certain conditions, after creating the widget pidgin_status_box_new_with_account ().
It is clear that the error in the implementation of the widget (he did some unfinished, even there is no indentation, similar gtkblist-> statusbox:)), but for the past two weeks, as I have tried various methods to avoid the appearance of this message.
Else everything was ready, maybe tomorrow I will release version 1.9. Wait! 🙂
